This instrument is suitable for measuring the color of various lubricating oils and other petroleum products according to GB/T 6540-86 "Determination of Color of Petroleum Products". The measurement method is to inject the sample of the petroleum product to be measured into a colorimetric tube, and then compare it with a standard color chart to determine its chromaticity number.
Instrument structure and main performance
This instrument consists of a standard color palette, an observation optical lens, a light source, and a colorimetric tube.
The color plate glass assembled on the standard color plate of this instrument is made of the formula of LOVIBAND in the UK. The glass color plate usually does not deteriorate or fade in air, and its quality is significantly improved compared to SH/T0168 standard.
There are 17 Ø 14 light holes on the standard color palette, of which 16 are sequentially equipped with standard color glass sheets with color numbers ranging from 0.5 to 8.0. The 17th hole is blank, and the color palette is rotated by the handwheel installed on the right side of the instrument to select the correct equivalent color during colorimetric testing. The standard color glass on the color palette should be calibrated using a reference solution as the calibration standard color.
The observation eyepiece consists of a concave mirror and a convex mirror. Two semi-circular colors can be seen simultaneously in the eyepiece, with the color on the left being the sample color and the color on the right being the standard color. The optical eyepiece has light adjustment and focusing functions, making it easy to use.
The light source uses a 220V, 100W, 2750 ± 50 ° K frosted milk shell bulb as the standard light source. The light from the light source is filtered through milky white glass and daylight filter glass, and the spectral characteristics of the standard light obtained are similar to those of Beiguang. The standard light is composed of two parallel beams formed by a plane mirror and a prism, with identical sizes and shapes, which can be uniformly irradiated on the color glass plate of the standard color plate and the sample of the colorimetric tube at the same time.
The colorimetric tube is a colorless flat bottomed glass tube with an inner diameter of Ø 32 millimeters and a height of 120-130 millimeters. The colorimetric tube is placed in the small cover position on the top of the instrument.
